  • Wisdom and Energy for Patsy and Doug as we strive to meet the needs of families who contact us for help, either over the email or at the various conventions we attend.

  • Finances for the ministry of Texas' Special Kids. As we travel around the state and answer web contacts, we see the great need out there, and our hearts' desire is for God to provide the finances for us to work the ministry full time. Doug is a full time special educator and Patsy is a part-time Spanish professor at the local university, and we are asking the Lord for the finances to support both our family and the ministry. Financial needs of the ministry include administrative costs, as well as travel expenses that include accommodations, food, gasoline, and cost of operating the vehicle.

  • Protection for Our Family as We Travel Most of our convention appearances take us on the road. We ask for your prayer coverage over us as we travel- for safety and for our van to work properly. We also ask for protection over our children as we leave them with care givers (usually family) or take them on the road with us.

  • Durable Goods
  • Furniture for our booth conducive to comfortable consulations at conventions;
  • a Trailer (5' x 8' enclosed) to carry convention materials behind our van;
  • an LCD projector for convention seminars to show powerpoint outlines.

  • Human Resources People who have caught the vision of TSK who can 1) Help us in the booth at conferences; and 2) Provide leadership for support groups in their communities.
